While trying to lose weight people often have the idea that skipping breakfast will help with weight loss when in all actuality it does the complete Opposite. According to research missing breakfast can make it more difficult to lose weight and control your food intake. When you decide to skip breakfast you are most likely to eat more throughout the day. Most overweight individuals do not eat breakfast.
Breakfast is the most important meal of the day (I know we’ve all heard that), but its true! It helps you with energy, nutrients and also helps you to focus. When you skip breakfast you are unlikely to make up your daily requirement for some vitamins and minerals that a simple breakfast would have provided. Breakfast kick starts your metabolism, it also helps to NOT Binge eat throughout the day. And YES, you save calories by not eating breakfast, but it will catch up to you later in the evening. I don’t know about you all but breakfast sets me up for a good mood! Good Positive energy throughout my day.
So Don’t Skip on your BREAK – FAST, you need it! To Feel Good, Eat Healthy, Gain Energy and To Shed those UNWANTED Pounds.
My Life CHANGE!
“The only time you fail is when you fall down and stay down.”
― Stephen Richards,
Hello I am and I will share my experience with you all. Today officially marks 1 year since I decided to make a change in my life. On this very day I decided that I wanted to take control of my body; to teach myself how to “Eat to Live and NOT Live to Eat.” So I made a call to a good friend of mine Parnell Williams (Fitness Trainer and childhood friend), and told him “I was ready!” He helped me kick start my journey and has been staying on top of things ever since. I have had my ups & downs, Slip ups, and depressing moments but I am PROUD to let you know that strong will and hard work I have seeing amazing results. A Year later I have dropped 58 pounds (315 to 257), 5 Pant Sizes (24 to 18), 2 shirt sizes (3xl to 1x), 3 cup sizes (DD to C), and 6 back sizes down (40 to 34). (S/O to K & D Total Body Fitness for pushing me to the limit and showing me that HARD WORK PAYS OFF) Clothes that I never thought I’ll be able to wear I fit with ease. Stores I wouldn’t even walk in, I shop in with comfort. I could barely walk stairs last year now I exercise 2 times a day. I have controlled all my bad eating habits (even though I still have moments of weakness) I eat all natural foods NO PROCESSED FOODS, and I’ve even managed decrease my portion size. My skin is glowing, my hair is growing, my attitude is better, and I feel as if I can accomplish anything. No I do not have a weight goal, but I do have a fitness goal I’m so proud of myself. But furthermore I’m excited about going to the next level. (I WANT A SIX PACK) I want to thank every one of my family and friends that have motivated me thru this time. Special S/O to Lacretia McNeal, Alicia Corpening, Kimberly Street, Sherley Mereus, Robert Jones, Alexis Cutsumbis, Makeda Lopez, Kerline Mereus, Suneeta Williams, The Staff of Splack Fitness, the Staff of K & D Total Body Fitness, and the Operation Lifestyle Change Family. Thank you all so much. I like to let you know that I am not finished yet and I will
